Imagine there was a place that was purpose built so that young people could get involved in activities they've never dreamt of, make new friends and be introduced to a world of possibility! A place where there are people inside who will be there for them, no matter what. People they can open up to, trust and ask for guidance about anything that is going on. A place where they can not just be themselves, but where they can become their best selves.
Such a place exists... we are Inspire Youth Zone. It's a place that was named 'Inspire' by the people it's here to serve.. the young people of Chorley.
Open 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, we provide an inspirational environment for more than 3000 active members and for some, a critical lifeline.
In order to be able to continue providing such important services we need the help from the local people and businesses around us.
Our monthly supporter programme allows YOU to make a small (or large) donation on a monthly basis - each and every penny is used to enable us to continue transforming young lives.
We urgently need supporters. Without you, we simply wouldn't be able to do what we do.
Here's what some of our wonderful young people have to say about Inspire:
ZARA, age 11 will spend time with her new friends, after Inspire helped her to manage Asperger's Syndrome, which has meant she has had a difficult time relating to others socially.
TOBY*, aged 12 will enjoy his first hot healthy meal in days as his parents struggle with rising living costs.
JESS*, aged 13 will be in Art, one of the many ways Inspire supports her mental health after losing her Dad.
KATIE, aged 8 will simply be here to play – something she has spent almost a quarter of her young life forbidden to do because of the pandemic.
