**Donations Needed for Neil**

Sweet Neil is one of our brand new Freedom Flyers from South Korea. He might be anywhere from seven to ten years of age? His former owner passed away from an accident in South Korea and that is how he ended up homeless.

Our vet discovered that Neil has a significant heart murmur of a grade five out of six, so we took him to get a cardiologist work up. Neil has been diagnosed with a degenerative leaky mitral valve with an atrial premature contraction on his left atrium.

He has started on heart medication as well as blood pressure medication (his blood pressure is borderline at the high end of normal).  He will need a cardiologist recheck in six months but we understand that he is officially going to be hard to find a forever home for as a result of his heart condition.

Most adopters are going to shy away from considering Neil for adoption. We just have to work that much harder to find someone as special as he is, to open up their hearts and their home to give him a chance.  Just like us humans, age and medical conditions shouldn't make us any less worthy of love.
