Each semester, Danny Greenberg Studio students vote to select a benefit partner, who receives 100% of the proceeds from our recital. We are proud to partner with Immigrant Defense Project for our Spring 2026 recital.
The benefit will take place on June 7, 2026, at 3:30 at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn, NY.

Why we're fundraising for IDP
For almost 30 years, IDP has been fighting for justice for all immigrants, especially those impacted by the immigration and criminal legal systems, with an unequivocal commitment to the principle that all human beings deserve dignity - and that nobody is disposable.
IDP works at the local level here in New York City and state to provide legal support and training, in particular through our community hotline, and we work to shape local and state policy, with a current focus on the New York for All Act, a key priority which would broadly prohibt the use of NY's local and state resources from being used to funnel New Yorkers to detention and deportation. And at the national level, we educate people about our constitutional rights, pursue powerful legal strategies in court that interrupt mass deportation, and change hearts and minds through narrative change.
Under this federal administration, we are steadfast in our mission to fight for immigrant justice, and the support we receive allows us to do this nimbly.
