IDF Protective Gear Donation

Dear Supporters,

We are overjoyed to announce the successful conclusion of our fundraising campaign for the reservist IDF unit 5060. Your generosity and commitment have been the cornerstone of this accomplishment.

With your invaluable support, we have funded full protective gear for 6 soldiers, including plate carriers, plates, and other essential accessories, ensuring their safety and readiness. Furthermore, we are pleased to inform you that the remaining members of our unit have also been fully equipped, thanks to another generous source.

UPDATE: As of November 15th, the unit has independently sourced the helmets and helmet covers required for the platoon. Therefore, we are pleased to announce a reduction in our donation goal to reflect these changes.

Who is this donation for?

This donation is designated for a specific battalion of the IDF, which is engaged daily in counterterrorism operations against Hamas and other terrorist organizations. All personnel were mobilized under TZAV 8, Israel's reserve recruitment call activated during wartime.

What does this donation include?

This donation provides essential protective gear for a platoon of 30 soldiers within the battalion. Despite their daily involvement in combat operations, this platoon has not been sufficiently equipped with vital gear, especially life-saving plate carriers and helmets. They urgently require high-quality, IDF-approved, and combat-proven gear that could be lifesaving.

Gear included:

• 60 x Bulletproof Plates (Two per carrier; one front, one back; plates are Level 3++)
• 30 x Plate Carriers + gear retainers
• 90 x Gear Pouches (3 per soldier; 30 back, 30 side, 30 front)
• 60 x Magazine Pouches (Designed to hold 3 magazines each; two pouches per soldier)
• 30 x Ballistic Helmets + Helmet covers [removed]
• 30 x Tactical Gloves

How will this gear be transported to Israel?

Currently, there are no commercial shipping options available to Israel. A former platoon commander from this unit will undertake the purchase and personal delivery of the equipment directly to the unit in Israel once the donation goal is met.

Will donors receive any acknowledgment?

We are considering special recognition for major contributors, such as a signed photograph and a commemorative plaque.
