Goal
My name is Callum Waterhouse, I am a local resident standing as the ICI candidate for Hillrise, in the Islington Council local elections on 7th May 2026.
I’m very proud to be standing as a council candidate for Hillrise, a thriving community that I will work tirelessly to empower and defend.
As a committed activist, I am on the front line of the housing crisis here in Islington. This mean working with communities to oppose unfair evictions, forcing private landlords to deliver much-needed repairs, and showing housing associations their tenants can’t be ignored. This also means pressuring Islington Council to deliver the strongest possible support and protection for residents across the borough. I do this because secure housing is a fundamental building block of strong community, along with accessible public spaces, reliable public services, and residents who feel listened too and understood.
These are the things that I will fight to deliver for Hillrise on the council, just as I have fought for them outside of it.
To run a strong, visible and community focused campaign we need your help!
Every contribution goes directly toward essentials like leaflets, posters, badges, and the materials that help us reach neighbours on every street and estate in Islington.
By donating, you’re not just supporting one ward. ICI candidates have agreed to pool resources so that funds raised here also help strengthen campaigns in other parts of Islington. It’s a collective effort for a fairer, more responsive borough. Please support us with what you can.
If you believe in grassroots democracy and a council that listens, please donate today. Your support keeps this movement growing.
