Young people from the Lusophone Adventist Church in Onex have decided to leave their "comfort zone" to take part in the "I Will Go Cape Verde" humanitarian project. This mission will take place next July, from July 3 to 18, 2024, in the city of Praia (Santiago Island) and will cover four important areas:
1. A vacation school for children. For one week, around 120 to 150 children will have the opportunity to take part in a program designed for their physical, social, mental and spiritual development. This year's theme will be healthy eating.
2. Health fairs. On Sunday, July 7, several locations in Praia will host a health fair, with the participation of national and international health professionals, enabling the population to undergo various screenings and benefit from professional advice.
3. Construction of a reception center for children at risk. In addition to the financial resources needed to build part of this center, young people will also have the pleasure of participating in its construction.
4. We're going to take advantage of our trip to bring basic necessities to the local population.
