What can I do to help?
Is there a small change you can make in your monthly spending habit to support foster children near you? Can you skip a latte or a single meal out to eat a month to ensure that each child in care has a chance to have a CASA advocating for them? My mother in law is skipping a single dinner out to eat a month to donate $50 instead. I am having coffee at home a few days a month and giving $25 to Foster Children instead, and I hope you will too! Together we can change lives, shape hearts, and restore confidence and joy to children who need it most! What will you do for a Foster Child this month?
So many of us are blessed to never face or know the hardships many of these children have only ever known. Our children sleep comfortably in our homes, they never wonder if their next meal is coming, they don't have upcoming court dates, supervised visits, or parents that they are afraid of. They experience love and support daily. There are currently hundreds of children in Foster care right here, who have never known that lifestyle.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) provides trained Guardian Ad Litems for children removed due to neglect and/or abuse from their homes, and placed into Foster Care. Our Program offers mentorship, comfort, care, and consistency as children are navigating the Foster Care system. No matter how many placements, moves, or changes the child faces, their CASA remains with them. Our program provides vital services to the Foster children, and we CANNOT do it without your support!
