HWB Eugene Chapter
The HWB Eugene Chapter is a regional grassroots chapter of Herbalists Without Borders international, coordinating and operating within its values, mission and vision. They acknowledge that they occupy unceded land located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. They express our gratitude and respect for all the First Nations People of Oregon and strive to carry out their health justice work honorably and respectfully.
Their work and passion is in continuous development as they grow and embrace anti-racist ethics, cultural diversity & cultural competencies. All underserved communities are their neighbors and relatives. They aspire to cultivate meaningful relationships as they work to be of service. They acknowledge their privilege to be able to be of service to their community and do so with humility and open hearts.
The HWB Eugene Chapter is dedicated volunteers engaging in Free People’s Clinics, Wellness Days, Street Medics, Herbal Education Days, Community Gardens, Community Herb Apothecaries, Medicinal Seed Saving and other important herbal health and wellness social justice volunteerism.
