Sponsor Heartworm Treatment for Dogs

We rescue dogs who unfortunately test positive for heartworms far too often. Heartworms, which are transmitted through mosquitoes, can be deadly if left untreated. The treatment is a very long, expensive and painful one, yet safe and effective. Treatment takes 5 months and costs hundreds of dollars for each dog. 

When Momma dogs are infested with heartworms, their babies are at risk as well, so preventatives for these pups is also necessary to avoid a full infestation as they grow.

These are three dogs we rescued, two Mommas with pups, who unfortunately all tested positive for heartworms. The estimate for treating these three dogs alone is $2,600. That's an average of $866 for each dog! 

All of these dogs are sweet, friendly, and are doing so very well, they deserve to be healthy and strong so they can live a long and happy life after years of neglect.
