Goal
One Ride, Many Ripples is a cross-country bicycle journey rooted in the belief that even a single act of courage can create waves of change far beyond ourselves. As I ride across the United States, this campaign is raising funds to support organizations working to protect and empower vulnerable women and children impacted by human trafficking.
I will travel to Kolkata, India, from March 1–8, 2026, to visit Human Trafficking Rescue Centers supported through philanthropic contributions and advocacy efforts. The purpose of this immersion is to witness firsthand the measurable impact of donor funding on the lives of vulnerable girls and young women who have been rescued from the human trafficking industry in Kolkata.
These centers provide a comprehensive, trauma-informed rehabilitation model designed to support long-term recovery, empowerment, and reintegration. Services include secure housing, psychological counseling, vocational and job skills training, financial literacy and competency education, yoga and wellness programming, and ongoing social support systems. The centers are committed to restoring dignity, cultivating self-sufficiency, and creating sustainable pathways toward independence and personal agency for survivors.
Throughout the immersion, fundraisers will engage directly with program leaders, staff, and community initiatives to deepen their understanding of the systemic challenges surrounding human trafficking prevention and survivor rehabilitation in India. This experience is intended to strengthen philanthropic transparency, foster meaningful global partnership, and expand awareness of evidence-based approaches to restorative care and human rights advocacy.
All funds raised contribute directly to sustaining and expanding critical services that protect, educate, rehabilitate, and empower girls who are vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking.
Every mile ridden and every donation given becomes part of a larger ripple of safety, sovereignty, and hope. Thank you for being part of this movement.
