HUG BRACELETS help, during quarantine

For many of us this time of quarantine and social distancing is difficult, thankfully two youth have stepped up to help ease that difficulty while also supporting local small businesses.

Two youth, Gabby Nupp (18 years old) and one who wishes to remain anonymous (10 years old) began making HUG bracelets as a way to close the gap. During this time of social distancing and quarantine, they would like everyone to know that they are not alone and loved very much. That's where the hug bracelet comes in, send one to your loved one and whenever they miss you that can wear the bracelet as a reminder, that even while apart they are still together.

"I want to be able to help people know that they are loved and not alone," says Gabby. "When you can't see your mom or grandpa and miss them a lot, that you can put on the bracelet and its like they are giving you a hug."

Both youth stated, that they know this is a difficult time for everyone right now. Thy have even acknowledged the difficulties that some small businesses are having due to mandatory closures.

They are asking for a minimum donation of $2 for the bracelets; The bracelets are customizable. For example, a pink bracelet that says, "love you, nana" or "just breathe." 

All donations are tax deductible and will help support the youth prevention/intervention alcohol and drug program through Cornerstone Center for Counseling and Discipleship. Donations will provide scholarships to teens that cannot afford treatment and help sustain the counselors during this time of Pandemic.
