The UpCounty Hub

The UpCounty Hub provides, without barriers and dignity, food and integrated essential services to community members in Upper Montgomery County.

The UpCounty Hub was founded in March 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic by community leader Grace Rivera-Oven. We started with just 23 families in the local Germantown area. Now, two years later, we are a permanent nonprofit serving an average of 1,400 families every week. The county has duplicated our model seven times throughout Montgomery County.
