Fund for Public Schools
As part of protecting the health and safety of all New Yorkers from the outbreak of COVID-19, New York City public schools have moved to a new remote learning model through at least the end of Spring Recess. This is an unprecedented and challenging moment for our school communities. Right now, more than ever, it will take a village to support the well-being and continued learning of our City’s 1.1 million students.
You can be part of the City’s critical response efforts by donating to the NYC Schools COVID-19 Response Effort, led by the Fund for Public Schools.
The Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which makes all donations tax-deductible. As a partner to the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) since 1982, The Fund is uniquely positioned to respond quickly to emerging needs across our public schools, by directing donations from caring donors like you toward areas the NYCDOE identifies as being of greatest need and which can have the biggest impact.
Your donation will support innovative and rapid solutions to strengthen the NYCDOE’s response efforts and help students, families, and educators directly during this time.
