Goal

The Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival is a cultural experience that promotes diversity awareness and is filled with performances by both local and world-renown musical artists, visual art exhibits, guest speakers, presentations, poets, crafts and much more! We’re excited and gearing up for our 5th Anniversary that will take place November 16, 2019, at Midtown Park. The Festival has grown significantly since its inception in 2014. This year, we anticipate over 10,000 attendees from the Greater Houston areas. In addition to music and arts, the Festival will also include health zones promoting health & wellness within the African-American community-at-large.

We believe in supporting our community and planting seeds for future generations. We are a registered 501(c)3 organization geared towards empowerment and providing scholarships for HBCU students. The impacts of your donation reach far beyond the day of the Festival, but help in our mission supporting the students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Every year, The Foundation for Black Heritage and Culture donates money to an HBCU of its choice on behalf of Houston Black Heritage Festival. This event is made possible by the committed and unwavering support of community partners and leaders like you. We value your contribution and partnership in making this event a success year after year.
