Hopesgiving is an opportunity to celebrate the generosity & unity that can transform our community and the world. Hope Smiles began in 2005 to meet unmet dental needs + provide dental students with unparalleled mentorship and experience. From the beginning, we set out to make sure that everything we do is based on empathy for people and developing deep, meaningful, and long-lasting relationships through our work. Now, 18 years laters, we have expanded our work to Uganda with 32 jobs created, over 100K patients served, and 28 communities served. In our own community in Nashville, we get the opportunity to bring at least four free dental days a year + create dental partnerships across our state who serve those who cannot afford quality dental care + partnerships with local churches and organizations. We are most looking forward to our Hope Smiles Nashville Dental Center opening in 2024. We have concrete plans to not only serve our community, but are excited announce our Residency & Assistant program to grow & train dental students with a unique experience in our incredible city! Our heart still beats with the same longing that it has since the beginning. Community, Compassion, & Excellence are our driving forces for lasting impact.
