Hope Bear Project
Short Folks For Hope Foundation's mission is to empower, encourage and celebrate cancer warriors, and to inspire and provide opportunities for youth to be creative, compassionate members of our communities. Founded in 2012 by singer/songwriter and breast cancer survivor Kristen Short, we are located at 4 Western Avenue in South Paris, Maine, and we work to foster hope for cancer warriors from pediatrics through geriatrics, in Maine and throughout the country.
Be an Ambassador of Hope and make a donation in honor of our Hope Bear Project. We send Hope Bears and Encouragement Packs to children and adults with life-threatening illnesses to bring comfort and to foster hope. Hope Bears can be cheery friends and travel buddies for a patient's courageous adventures. Families can also share photos of their Hope Bear's adventures with our Facebook project page https://www.facebook.com/shortfolkshopebear or our Twitter page at https://www.twitter.com/shortfolks.
We also provide angel bears to bereaved families who have lost a family member due to cancer.
Short Folks for Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible. Our EIN# is 46-1044683. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution. To learn more about Short Folks For Hope Foundation, visit our website at www.shortfolks.org.
