Hood River Adopt-A-Dog Online Donations

Hood River Adopt A Dog (HRAAD) is the local non-profit no-kill program responsible for caring for all dogs at the Hukari Animal Shelter in Hood River County.  Our small staff and dedicated group of volunteers provides interim care, veterinary assistance, love and adoption services for unclaimed and surrendered dogs throughout the Columbia Gorge.  We are solely supported by adoption fees, donations and small grants.

Your donations fund three types of HRAAD programs:

  •  Care of the shelter and adoptable dogs
  • Adoption outreach and transfer programs
  • Community services, including the volunteer programs.

We depend on your generous ongoing donations to fund our work for the dogs and the community.  We welcome donations by cash, checks or credit cards.

OR you can do some research on our fund through the Gorge Community Foundation. If you prefer giving a sustainable gift, please check out the Gorge Community Foundation. Your money will be added to the fund in our name that will grow over time with a small portion of the interest given back to the named organization each year.
