Honoring the Memory 
of Glenn and Claire Kibsey

A lasting tribute beneath the waves

Glenn and Claire Kibsey were passionate divers, devoted partners, and longtime friends of Roatan. Originally from Canada,
they spent many years of their retirement on the island, becoming beloved members of the diving community and advocates
 for the ocean they loved so deeply.

On March 30th and April 1st, 2025, Glenn and Claire passed away just one day apart, each after a brave battle with cancer. 
Their bond with each other and with Roatan’s reef remains unforgettable to all who knew them.

In their memory, the Kibsey family is working with Roatan Marine Park to dedicate a dive site in their honor. 
In this place, future generations of divers can explore the same underwater beauty that meant so much to Glenn and Claire.

This tribute will serve not only as a memorial to their lives and love but also as a contribution to the 
protection and sustainable enjoyment of Roatan’s marine ecosystem.

We invite family, friends, and members of the dive community to support this initiative. All donations will go toward the installation
 and maintenance of the selected dive site, supporting marine conservation efforts, and helping preserve the reef for years to come.

Every contribution, big or small, helps us keep their legacy alive in the water they loved and the island they called home.
