Goal

Running the 2026 Honolulu Marathon is a personal challenge for me, mentally and physically, but I wanted this challenge to mean something more than simply crossing a finish line.

That is why I chose to partner with Street Child.

As a mom and someone with a background in education, I believe that education is one of the most powerful tools we can give a child. It creates opportunity, builds confidence, and offers hope for a better future. Many of us are fortunate to see education as a normal part of life, but for millions of children around the world, simply getting to attend school is not guaranteed.

Street Child works to help children stay safe, in school, and learning, especially in communities facing poverty, conflict, and crisis. Their mission deeply resonates with me because I believe every child deserves the chance to learn and reach their potential.

My fundraising goal is $1,500, and I have personally donated 10% of that goal myself because I want to invest in this mission alongside everyone who chooses to support it.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping turn a personal challenge into an opportunity to make a difference for children around the world. 🤍

272 million children around the world cannot go to school. We're working to change that.

Every mile and every dollar will help:

🏃‍♀️Build schools in communities affected by poverty, conflict and other crisis.

🏃‍♀️Train teachers to reach children who are chronically out of school, supporting them to catch up quickly.

🏃‍♀️Support marginalized children and youth, including girls and children with disabilities, to learn and thrive.

Education transforms lives — and together, we can open the door to brighter futures for thousands of children.

💛 Your donation will make a real and lasting impact.
