3i HoME for the Holidays 2025

3i HoME continues to grow at a rapid clip, and we have you, our early adopters, to thank for this incredible growth. In technology spheres, the early adopter is someone who recognizes the inherent value of an idea, starts using it to meet their needs, and contributes input and support that help bring the final product to life. You are an essential part of 3i HoME’s early adopters. 

With your support, 2025 has been a monumental year for 3i HoME: 

• The design and planning phase of our marquis project in Scarborough Maine (“Sturgeon Place”) is nearing completion. We have selected a general contractor and are well-positioned to begin the construction phase.
• Early in November, we achieved site approval from local officials in Rumford, Maine and are engaging with various stakeholders in detailed design discussions for our first 3i HoME Caring Community™.
• We launched the 3i HoME Innovation Laboratory as a test site for smart assistive technology, and it is growing by the day.

We are so excited about where 2026 will bring 3i HoME - and we need your help to make it happen. This coming year we will see: 

• A long-awaited groundbreaking at Sturgeon Place in Spring 2026. 
• Internal expansion and capacity building with new team members propelling us forward with efficiency, professionalism and most importantly, impact. 
• On the ground site planning for 3i HoME's Caring Communities(TM) in several locations in Maine. 
• Collaboration with partners across the country to bring enhanced uses of everyday technology to those of us that need it most - paving the way for bright, engaged, hard-working family and friends to work in and build community despite challenges with mobility and accessibility. 

If you had asked us five years ago, when our nonprofit was founded, where we would be today, we’re not sure we could have envisioned growth at this speed. We are so proud of where we are.
