Nikos and Katerina invites groups of refugees from the camps and squats to be guests in their restaurant for a free meal. They eat together with volunteers, locals and tourists - the same meals, the same hospitality and the same experience. They experience a moment to relax, to have fun, to meet new friends, to step out of the daily routine of the refugee life. 

Help support providing a meal for a family living in a refugee camp. Home for a Day identifies families living in Moria (a nearby refugee camp with tents and isoboxes) and brings them Home "for a day." There they eat dinner family style, receive whatever clothing, supplies, and toys are available based on donations and funding, sing and dance together, and then get a ride back to the camp. Nikos has been known to make more than 25 trips a day to bring as many people as possible to Home! Besides the actual meal, your generous donation will also help supply the supporting items crucially needed to provide this service, such as dinnerware, paper goods, cooking necessities, gas for transportation, and other costs associated specifically with operating the restaurant and providing meals.
