**** From the start of this program, December 2020, families on our list are dealing with so many hardships: lost jobs, evictions, Covid deaths, spouses in the hospital, starting anew after being homeless, grandmother’s raising their grandchildren on their own, veterans doing the best they can to provide for their families, women who moved here with nothing to escape an abusive relationship to keep their kids safe — all of which would be grateful for a Christmas dinner and a little hope from a kind stranger. Your sponsorship will surely bring a bit of light to a family who needs some extra love this holiday season. 🌟 

MISSION

The Good Deed Project is a sustainability-focused, volunteer-fueled organization that provides life-transformative, healthy and safe living environments through home rehabilitation, renovations and repairs for children, families, seniors, veterans, special needs individuals and those living in circumstances beyond their control that affect their health and well-being and prevent them from thriving mentally and physically. Our organization also pivoted to offer services in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to address emergency needs by donating and delivering furniture and holiday meals to those in transition from or in danger of homelessness. Community development is at the heart of what The Good Deed Project does, with focus on “health and home” and the goal of developing the potential of our volunteers, those we serve and the neighborhoods they live in.
