Goal
When: April 23 - September 2018
Fundraising Goal: $5,300 (2 hikers x $1 per mile x 2,650 miles = $5300)
Description: The Pacific Crest Trail is 2650 miles, spanning from the US/Mexico border, through California, Oregon, and Washington, ending at the Canadian border. The wilderness path winds through the extreme deserts of Southern California, over 57 mountain passes, through tundra, canyons, national parks, rainforests, and vast stretches without water.
Carrying everything we need to survive on our backs, our full time job will be hiking 10-14 hours a day, sourcing water, setting up camp, cooking dehydrated foods, and surviving the extreme elements. Along this journey, we will share our mission with other hikers, tourists, and locals in the small towns we cross through. We aim to inspire as many people as we can to donate to our cause!
Our goal is to have every mile we each trek sponsored by a $1 donation, raising $5,300 by the end of our hike. The money we raise will then be shared with the organizations we support.
Please donate as much as you can to help us achieve this goal, so that together, we can all make a difference in the lives of those without a home.
Thank you!
