Help Feed Local Families This Thanksgiving
Heartland Hope Mission experienced an increase in the number of people served since the start of the global pandemic. In order to meet the demand, food saved for the holidays had to be pushed out quickly. Now, we are faced with ordering more at a higher cost. Help us feed local families in need this holiday season!
Sarah, 30, and her 3 children lost their home to the devastating flood in March 2019. Heartland Hope Mission stepped in and provided Sarah’s family with services, including food, hygiene, and household goods to help rebuild their life. The holidays felt like a daunting season after everything they had gone through. But a sense of relief and a feeling of normality overcame them when their family received a Thanksgiving pantry. Sarah was also able to register her children for our Christmas program which eliminated the burden of figuring out how she was going to buy gifts for them with limited funds. It is because of YOUR heart and generosity that families like Sarah’s have peace, joy, and hope for the holidays.
