Sponsor a Family for Christmas
As the holidays draw near, children are making their Christmas lists in eager anticipation of waking up Christmas morning to gifts under the tree. Sadly, for some parents in our own community, providing gifts and a holiday meal for their kids will be even more difficult than ever due to job loss, lay offs, and quarantines from the pandemic. Heartland Hope Mission has seen a substantial increase of families needing assistance due to COVID.
You can give the gift of hope this holiday season by sponsoring a family.
After losing their home to the devastating flood in March 2019, Sarah, 30, and her 3 children turned to Heartland Hope Mission for help. Receiving gifts through our Christmas program eliminated the worry of how she would provide toys for her children. When asked what they wanted for Christmas, Isabel shouted, "JoJo Siwa stuff because she is the best!" Evan said, "A backpack, lunchbox, and a toy car." Tyler replied, "I want cards to play with."

Adopt - A - Family This Christmas by Shopping
You can bring hope to a family this holiday by adopting a family! Simply register here to let us know the size of family you would like to shop for. We estimate it will cost about $50 per child to purchase gifts, stocking stuffers and a needed item. Once we receive your registration, we will e-mail you with the details about the child’s age, clothing size, gift suggestions and general likes. You can then use that information to shop for the family. You will then drop the gifts off to Heartland Hope Mission and we will distribute the toys along with a holiday pantry to the family you adopted. Toys can be dropped off any anytime before Tuesday, December 8th. We will have contactless drive through drop off at our Millard location on Saturday, December 5th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
