HERYN Program

HERYN (pronounced heron), which stands for Helping Engage our River's Youth with Nature, is a program developed by the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper to get young people engaged with fishing and kayaking opportunities via one-day hands-on sessions. Outside of funds we will be receive via a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission grant, we could use help in securing equipment and other resources necessary to make sure these sessions are successful and sustainable as we look to expand the program throughout the central and northeast/central part of the state.
