Herbie suffered for years on the street. When he was finally rescued, he was sick and covered in fleas. His eyes were badly infected; he was not going to make another winter outside. After being rescued they discovered that he was very feral and FIV positive. Because of that he found himself with no chance of adoption. BDRF was contacted and we agreed to give him his second chance and his forever home! Herbie is slowly feeling better. His eyes have cleared up, and he is enjoying his warm bed and a full belly. Herbie’s personality is well... “tough”, but then that is how he survived. We will try to make him the “love bug” we know he is deep down inside (really, really deep down inside)
