Help Support SOLL!!

Sherman Oaks Little League has been in existence for over 75 years, serving our community by allowing tens of thousands of children to play the game that we all love so much. Over that time, our league has experienced ups and downs but one thing that has never changed is our community’s desire to help in times of need.  We are now in immediate need of that help. 

Our infrastructure at the league is aging and we are in need of funds to help fix many of the issues that exist around the complex. Some of those include:

• Security lighting around and on the fields

• A new roof on the snack bar

• Replacement of the HVAC system in the snack bar

• New netting on our batting cages

• Replacement of the small batting cage next to the Majors field

• Repair and replacement of the fencing on all fields

These projects are more than just things that will make our facility look better… they are also vital to the safety of the children that play in the league. 

Given our size, we are one of the few leagues in the area that hasn’t had to do much fundraising in the past but that is going to need to change going forward if we want to maintain what we’ve been able to build.  Our prices for league play remain low relative to others in the area and we want to keep it that way so we can provide the opportunity for as many children from our community to play, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. 

Our request to you today is simple:

Help us raise $150,000 so we can continue to make this league the best one around!!   We are a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible. 

 While it’s difficult to ask for help, we know that we are asking the most generous and caring group of families in Los Angeles.  SOLL is about community and gives so much to so many.
