Throughout Portland and Maine, tenants are struggling to survive as rents rocket skyward. Landlords, with no concerns other than their own profits, gouge rents annually, driving tenants into housing poverty or homelessness. 

We at Swing Hard, Turn Left have decided enough is enough and we are helping tenants push back. Whether it is helping forming a union to protect their rights, filing a complaint to win back illegal rent hikes, or just helping unions build community and solidarity with their neighbors, we are here to help. 

Because of our success, tenants from all over the city have started reaching out to us looking for help when their landlord's greed puts their home and quality of life in peril.
