Help us confront COVID-19 in the Bronx

Coronavirus has disrupted everything in New York City, but it's especially deadly in the Bronx. Our people die more often due to complicating health conditions. Many of us are also front-line workers who keep the city running without proper protective gear. And others of us are facing layoffs and can't pay our rent. 

To tackle this crisis, we have to take care of each other, while fighting for the changes we need to survive. 

Take Back the Bronx, an all-volunteer grassroots organization, has been fighting for community control of our borough since 2011. Right now we're distributing food and cleaning supplies, supporting tenants going on rent strike, and helping workers demand protections on the job. You can support our efforts by making a recurring donation. With your support, we will:

 - Continue our Feed The People program as a delivery service to houseless neighbors;

 - Sustain the text, email and videoconferencing services we use to share resources and host virtual meetings;

 - Support Bronx tenants withholding rent, and workers challenging unsafe conditions.
