Goal
In the past year, Collective Calling has continued to restore dignity and stability across Spain and Tanzania, reaching hundreds of people through consistent, relational care.
In 2025 alone:
52 children were supported through rescue, care, education, and safeguarding in Tanzania
10 children were rescued from situations of neglect, exploitation, or street life
5 families were successfully reunified, with ongoing monitoring and support
554 showers were delivered through our Mobile Shower Unit in Spain
379 hygiene kits were distributed alongside frontline outreach
88 volunteers gave their time across outreach, events, and frontline services
Every one of these numbers represents a real person — a life stabilised, dignity restored, or hope renewed.
That momentum matters. And it’s something we are committed to protecting.
Over the past two months, unusually severe winter weather has significantly reduced income from our charity shops. While this slowdown is temporary, it has created a short-term funding gap for February that we have not previously experienced at this scale.
We are seeking to raise €6,000, which will bridge us safely through February and protect the work outlined above while shop income stabilises.
This is not a crisis appeal.
It is a time-bound, preventative request to ensure continuity during an unexpected winter dip.
This €6,000 bridge allows us to:
-
Protect ongoing programmes that currently support:
Children in care and education in Tanzania
Families navigating reunification and follow-up support
People experiencing homelessness receiving consistent, dignified care in Spain
To be clear:
Temporary rent relief has already been secured
Costs have been reviewed and reduced where possible
This appeal exists solely to protect continuity and momentum.
Alongside this appeal, we are actively working to stabilise income through fundraising activity, partnership conversations, and forward planning to better manage weather-related volatility in the future.
We are confident this gap is short-term, and we are taking responsible steps to strengthen resilience going forward.
Thank you for standing with Collective Calling.
Your support doesn’t just fund activity — it protects dignity, safeguards lives, and sustains long-term, relational care. We’re deeply grateful to have a community that walks with us in both strong and challenging seasons.
