20 Years of Hope
This year, Families in Grief marks 20 Years of Hope.
For two decades, we have been there for children and young people across North Devon and Torridge when they need it the most, helping them to understand and move forwards with their grief.
Last year alone, we supported more than 200 children and young people in our local area. But the need for our services continues to grow year on year. Too many children are facing grief without the support they deserve.
That’s why we’re launching our 20 Years of Hope campaign. We aim to raise £20,000 so we can reach even more families, providing vital support and ensuring that no child has to face grief alone.
Your donation helps make this possible. It enables us to offer one-to-one support, group activities, family days, guidance for parents and carers, specialist resources for professionals, and bereavement training in the community.
With your support, we can continue to be there for families at their most vulnerable moments, offering comfort, understanding, and hope when it matters the most.

Good Afternoon! Our 11 Year Old daughter Ruby has been selling eggs from her small flock of chickens on the side of our road for the past few months and she decided to donate 20% of all her income to your very worthy charity. In this time she has managed to raise £100 for FIG which hopefully will go towards making someone smile who desperately need it. All the best Steve Pomeroy
