Help the Dunk Family Rebuild their Lives in Canada

Hi friends, we reached our goal to help the Dunk family—a loving family of five in St. Lucia—to rebuild their lives in Canada!

They are now in the application process and have the proof of funds required by the Canadian government ($4,989 CAD for a family of 5) for Canada's Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot program.

While we've reached our goal to help meet their current and future needs, you are welcome to continue donating.

When you hear “St. Lucia,” you might immediately think of gorgeous beaches and resorts. But for many of the people who call it home, reality can look quite different. 

David and Davea Dunk have provided for their three kids over the years, but more recently, things have been very difficult.

David’s been working temporary jobs that pay below minimum wage. And after submitting 100+ job applications, Davea has also not landed a permanent job—but she's still looking and is offering catering services in the meantime.

This has been tough on mom, dad, and the kids. Their 8-year-old son has ADHD and the lack of finances has worsened his challenges in school. Their 5-year-old daughter has also had her own struggles in school, and their 2-year-old baby requires constant care and attention.

So, we’re reaching out to you for help. 

The Dunk family is applying to emigrate to Canada via their Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot program. This way, David can find a good-paying job in his field of study, Davea can access a wider range of better job opportunities, and their kids can access better schools.

David already has potential job opportunities in Canada, we just need to help them with travel and proof of funds required by the Canadian government ($4,989 CAD for a family of 5).

We know times are tough for everyone, but any amount you give can make a difference, and together we can reach their goal. All funds are being transferred directly to Davea Dunk’s bank account, which has already been verified and successfully received donations from us.

A: Funds are being sent as they come in. Our payment processor usually deposits within 3-4 business days, after which we'll send them directly to the family.
