River City Housing Collective has been providing affordable cooperative housing to the Iowa City area since 1977. We believe in the value of communities like ours, especially in a housing market that provides few alternatives or affordable options. Like many nonprofit organizations, we have faced many unavoidable challenges over the past few years; however, we have recently experienced an exciting resurgence of interest in living collectively, and we need your help to meet the moment. Most pressingly, that means the replacement of flooring in rooms that experienced a heating unit water break and necessary repairs to the shared kitchen.
