Goal

If you’re here, you’re thinking of helping Work On Climate with funding before the end of 2024.

Thank you! It makes us happy when we see that you value our work ❤️

By the way, your gift will be doubled (or quadrupled, if you also request an employer match)!

One of our major donors has offered to double every dollar in this campaign — he believes that there's a ton of climate impact in helping us get more done.

Please submit your donation using the form on the right, and let's go twice as far! 👉

We have helped 3,000+ climate jobseekers and 3,000+ founders, and now we’re going even farther: creating workforce-scale climate talent pipelines.

The task ahead of us is major, but with your help, we will deliver on this vision!

In the words of our supporters:

“WoC helped me personally in finding my job, and keeps me connected to the industry. From the depths of 2020 to now thank you for everything you do!” — Julia Whistler

“I was very thankful to be invited to participate in the recent founder workshops, which have already uncorked torrents of progress for me. With a bit of luck, I hope to convert that into bigger contributions down the road – WoCl's mission is hugely important.” — Ryan Moran

“It's critically important to develop a climate workforce [...] I am proud to support Work On Climate's workforce development efforts.”  — Ning Mosberger-Tang, founder, 1.5CSG

Our major donors and partners include the Cisco Foundation, 1.5 Climate Strategies Group, 3M, Vadasz Foundation, CultureAmp Foundation, Mirantis, SNØCAP, NYSERDA, NYCEDC, and many generous individuals. Our work has been highlighted in Fast Company, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The New Yorker, CBC, CNBC, and others.

How much should you give? Personally, we appreciate every single contribution and we mean it. Financially, donations in the $100-3,000 range are critical for us to financially sustain what we do currently; relationships with major supporters, who give $3,000 and more, are what is necessary for us to get to the next level.

We can process these donation methods:

  • Credit card — submit your donation right here. In many cases, your employer can double it! 👉
  • Donor-advised funds (DAFs), such as Schwab and Fidelity — find us by EIN.
  • Donate appreciated stock, free of capital gains tax — use this link (email me if anything is unclear!)
  • Employer giving/matching programs (e.g. many big tech employers offer one!)
    • Note: If you submit your donation here, and then request a company match, we will receive it much faster
  • Check — mail to the address below.
  • Bank wires — email eugene@workonclimate.org for details.

We are a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, EIN 87-1756849, 1112 Fell St., San Francisco, CA 94117.

— Yours, Eugene Kirpichov, Co-founder and Executive Director

P.S. Considering a major gift to a climate cause, but want to get to know us more first?
I welcome the opportunity to discuss our work in detail! Please email eugene@workonclimate.org or 🗓️ book some time with me.

P.P.S. If you're still reading, hopefully you're still excited to support us — don't forget to submit your donation using the form on the right!
