Help Mohammed’s Family Survive in Gaza

My name is Mohammed. I am 26 years old, from Gaza. I live with my wife and our two young children, Ikram and Tulin. Every day, I wake up to a fight for survival—not just for myself, but for my entire family.

The morning begins with worry. My daughter, born prematurely at just seven months, cries weakly from hunger. She is malnourished and needs special formula that I cannot always afford. My son, Tulin, is also undernourished, and I fear every day that without proper nutrition, their tiny bodies may not withstand another night.

My parents live with us, and they are fragile too. My father has a heart condition, and my mother suffers from chronic diabetes. Their health depends on stability, care, and clean food—but in Gaza, these are luxuries we cannot afford.

The conditions we live in are unbearable. The home is cramped and unsanitary. Clean water is scarce, and cooking gas is a constant worry. Every simple task, like preparing a meal or washing a child’s bottle, becomes a struggle.

What we desperately need to survive:

• Baby formula and milk for my malnourished children
• Diapers and baby bottles
• Clean water (a can costs $3; we need at least three cans every two days)
• Cooking gas for meals

A single can of formula or a pack of diapers costs $50. Clean water costs $3 per can. Three cans every two days are essential for our survival—but I cannot afford it.

Evenings are the hardest. I watch my children sleep, hoping they will survive another night. I hold my daughter close, praying that tomorrow will be better, but I know that without urgent help, their fragile lives are at risk.

I am sharing our story because I have no other choice. Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly toward providing what my children need most: milk, formula, diapers, clean water, and cooking gas. Your help can save lives and give my family hope.
