At the Moores Mill Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department, our mission is to provide the highest level of fire protection and emergency medical services to our community. To achieve this, we need your support. We are currently seeking to raise $250,000 to fund essential upgrades and equipment purchases.
Why We Need Your Help
Upgrade to Advanced Life Support (ALS):
We currently offer Basic Life Support (BLS) services, but we aim to enhance our capabilities by upgrading to Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. This will enable our EMTs and paramedics to provide more comprehensive care during emergencies. The estimated cost for this upgrade is $25,000.
New Equipment Purchases:
Turnouts: We need to purchase new turnouts, which cost approximately $4,000 each.
Radios: To improve communication during emergencies, we need new radios, each costing about $5,000.
Other Equipment: Additional equipment required for fire and rescue operations.
Replace Aging Apparatus:
Our firefighting engines and other apparatus are aging and need to be replaced to ensure we can respond effectively to emergencies.

If each household in Moores Mill contributes just $50, we can reach our goal. Your donation is tax-deductible and will be used exclusively for the purchase of new equipment and the upgrade of our services. Please consider making a donation to help us better serve our community.
Additional Information
Our members are dedicated volunteers who do not receive any financial compensation for their services. We do not bill for any of the services we provide. All donations go directly towards improving the services we offer to our community.

When my mother, visiting from out of state, experienced a stroke-like episode, you arrived less than 60 seconds after we hung up with 911. You beat HEMSI by nearly 10 minutes.
