Help Make Masjid Umar Debt Free!

Asalam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu!

Alhumdullilah, since purchasing our 11,000+ sq ft property a few years ago, we have fully renovated the first building on the property.

In order to purchase the building initially and to continue construction work throughout the project the community had to undertake two loans totaling $260k.

We are now in need of paying back those loans and making Masjid Umar Ibn Al-Khattab in Hartford CT debt free!

🎯 Ramadan 1447 Goal: $60k

⏳️Deadline: 3/20/26 (or end of Ramadan 1447)

Allah says in the Qur’ān:

The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance.

(Total debt is $260k)
