North Berkeley Now! is a group of like-minded neighbors who live in Berkeley. There's no shadowy conspiracy or large funders behind the work we do. We are completely independent and do not have a fiscal sponsor.
No one is paid for their time spent advocating for safe streets and affordable homes; our expenses are mainly printing costs for signs and leaflets. There's no astroturf here, and the driving force behind our advocacy is urbanist passion for safe ways to get around without a car and more neighbors of all kinds .
