Help for Abused and Neglected Pets
- Ziggy Stardust is one of thousands of Alaskan pets who need our help. She came to us along with her sister, Elsa, after living her short life on an 8-foot chain in rural Alaska with limited human contact. Her story had a happy ending because of your support.
- Duke is a greyhound/shepherd mix who languished for NINE DAYS after being hit by a car. By the time we were able to persuade the owner to surrender him, we weren't sure we could save him. Fast forward six weeks: Duke--who ended up losing a leg because of the accident and subsequent neglect--is fully recovered and ready to live his best life as a tri-paw.
- Buddy, Boomer, and Bailey are the three Newfoundlands we rescued last week from deplorable conditions. Their home was covered in filth and feces. Years of neglect left them with scores of infections, bodies covered in matted fur, sores, and crusted injuries. The pictures are so graphic that they break your heart. We are not yet sure that they will fully recover.
These are but a few examples of our life-saving work, and there are thousands more in need. We desperately need your help. Your donations allow us to continue to change the outcomes for dogs like Ziggy, Duke, and the Newfoundland boys. All donations stay in Alaska, helping Alaskan pets. Please, give what you can; dog and cat lives are in your hands.
