We are honored to make this donation in memory of Paul King, a lifelong farmer, veteran, devoted family man, and beloved member of his community in Iowa. His life was rooted in hard work, generosity and a deep love of the land. I lost my job in tech almost two years ago and was unemployed for nearly 10 months. During that time, RFU was a lifeline for me and my son. Knowing we'd have access to fresh food every week made such a difference—it was one less thing to worry about when everything felt uncertain.
