My name is Asmaa, and I am a 21-year-old media student at the University of Palestine in Gaza. I am writing these words while carrying pain and loss that have completely changed my life.

During the war, I lost my brother — a heartbreaking loss that left a deep emptiness in our hearts and our home. We also lost our house, the place where all our memories, safety, and dreams once lived.

Today, my family and I are struggling without stable shelter or security. Our situation became even more difficult after my father, Jihad, who is 52 years old, was severely injured during the war.

He suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes, and his injury caused him to lose sight in one eye. He is still undergoing surgeries and needs ongoing medical care. My mother, Samar, who is 48 years old, is doing everything she can to keep our family together through these impossible circumstances.

Despite everything we have endured, I am still trying to continue my studies in media and journalism. I believe words can carry truth, and voices can tell the stories the world must hear — especially the stories of people in Gaza.

My dream is to become a journalist who speaks honestly about reality, gives a voice to those who have none, and shares the suffering and resilience of our people with the world. But continuing my education has become a daily struggle while we fight simply to survive. I am not writing these words to ask for pity.

I am writing because my family and I are trying to hold on to life, dignity, and hope despite everything we have lost. Your support can help us survive this devastating time and give me the chance to continue my education and pursue my dream.

Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a real difference for my family. Thank you for standing with us. — Asmaa and Family

Hello, my name is Zenda I live in Japan, and I am the organizer of this campaign. I am dedicated to supporting families and individuals in urgent need, helping provide food, medicine, and basic necessities to those facing unimaginable hardships. Our goal is to bring hope, relief, and a chance for a better life to those who need it most, and your support can make a real difference.
For many years, I’ve supported international organizations that provide humanitarian aid, help children and mothers, and assist families displaced by war. Since last year, I’ve been personally helping families in Gaza, witnessing firsthand the extreme challenges they face every day.
