Goal
Amir was only 12 years old when his childhood was cut short.
In 2023, the genocide reached North Gaza and took everything from him. He lost his home, his safety, and both of his parents. While fleeing for their lives, Amir ran through the streets carrying his two-year-old sister in his arms. During that escape, he witnessed the unimaginable: his mother was martyred in front of him by the IDF. A Child watched his mother die, and nothing can erase that image from his heart. That moment lives with him forever.
Today, Amir is just 15 years old, yet he carries the weight of an adult. He is the oldest of four siblings, ages 12, 8, and 4, and with both parents gone, he has become their protector and support. They now live with their grandparents, who are elderly and ill, leaving Amir responsible for caring for everyone. At such a young age, Amir carries the weight of an entire family on his shoulders.
He has escaped death many times, he has seen things no child should ever see, and he suffers from deep trauma and nightmares. Still, Amir smiles. He jokes. He tries to stay strong so his siblings can feel safe. When you look at him, you see a kind, energetic boy, but behind that smile is a child who lost his parents and his childhood all at once.
Amir has no formal support system and no campaign of his own. He survives through small acts of kindness, TikTok gifts, and donations from people who refuse to look away.
I am Layla, his project manager, sharing his story so he can receive the support he deserves from people like you and organizations such as Olive Branch Group (OBG).
Your donation, no matter how small, can help feed his siblings, care for his grandparents, and give Amir hope. Please consider supporting through the link in my bio, PayPal, the Olive Branch Group website, or by attending his live streams.
Your compassion is Amir’s light, and his prayers are your reward.
Thank you for not turning away.
