Help The Muslims Across The World Learn The Language of The Qur'an

"Verily the best amongst you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it" Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him).

This project is dedicated to making the learning and understanding of the Qur'an available freely for the Muslims all over the world. To enable people learn and understand the language of the Qur'an; Arabic for FREE from the comfort of their homes. And hence enabling them read the Qur'an perfectly with understanding.

There are many Muslims and most especially the reverts from all over the world who are willing and craving to learn the Arabic language and be able to read the Qur'an with understanding.

From our experience, we found out that there are many Muslims from around the world who are not opportune to have the comfort of learning the language of the Qur'an let alone read the Qur'an, due to some certain circumstances which may include ignorance or lack of awareness or financial problems among others to mention but few.

Therefore we are determined and inviting you all and sundry to help contribute to establishing an online digital academy for Arabic language and Qur'anic studies for the Muslims to benefit from, from all over the world. FisabiliLLah.

This indeed would become a deed of renewed benefit for you and for us in this world and the hereafter.

And One of The Things That Would Remain for Us after Death is; Deeds of Renewed Benefit.

Any good deed that a Muslim starts during his lifetime, and that is of renewed benefit and ongoing use for the Muslims, will continue to benefit him and augment his record of good deeds, even after his departure - as long as its benefits continue to reach others. Allah, the Most High, says: 

"We record that (deeds) which they have put forward and their traces (that which they have left behind)."

Abu Hurayrah, rahimahullah, reported that Allah's Messenger, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said:

"When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'a for him."

Abu Qatadah, rahimahullah, reported that Allah's Messenger, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said:

"The best that a man can leave behind after his death are three things: a righteous child who makes du'a for him, an ongoing sadaqah whose rewards continue to reach him, and a knowledge that continues to be implemented after him." Ibn Majah, and others. Verified to be sahih by Al-Mundhiri and Al-Al

"Among the good deeds that continue to benefit a believer after death are: a knowledge that he taught and disseminated, a righteous child who lived after him, a Qur'an book that he left as inheritance, a masjid that he built, a house that he built for the two wayfarers, a stream that he ran, or a charity that he gave from his wealth during his healthy lifetime so that it would reach him (in rewards) after death." Ibn Majah and others. Verified hasan by Al-Mundhiri and Al-Albani.

According to the Qur'an and the aforementioned Ahadith, we understand that among the benefiting good deeds that will remain for us is giving out to others a benefiting knowledge, and what knowledge could be more benefiting than the knowledge of the Qur'an? This has really motivated us.

For one who teaches others the knowledge of the Qur'an is said to be the best of mankind, according to the prophet of Allah, Mohammad (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon) that;

Verily The Most Superior Amongst You Are Those Who Learn The Quran and Teach It.

This is a Hadith of our beloved prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) which explains the importance and benefit of learning and teaching the Quran. 

For what is the benefit of knowledge when it's not spread from one person to another? And Arabic being the language of the Qur'an is the best of all the languages there are. 

Therefore, we are willing to start up this project, basically to avail the generality of Muslims from all over the world, the opportunity to learn the language of the Holy Qur'an, Arabic, for FREE as a sadaqah. From which every person who takes part in making it possible will continue to get the reward in thia world and hereafter.

And the best of sadaqah is that which remains and flowing even after one leaves this word.

Why Did We Choose To Do This and Who Are We?

We are set of Muslim brothers who are so much kin and passionate about learning and teaching the knowledge of Islam and the language of the Qur'an.

Back in the year 2013 we joined a group of University students organization for Language learning. Where we worked as Arabic language tutors, before we separated and stood alone under the name Arabic Oasis. Due to very high interests of the Muslims students of the school, in learning Arabic language and the Qur'an after learning about us.

Although we were not on a very large scale and we only charged a little then in order to manage and support the program. We only did have the intention to do it for the sake of Allah and the aim is not for the monetary benefit of it. 

We started with a number of 40 students, holding our classes in the weekends and some times during the week days. In spite of the tight schedules these students were still able to manage to keep up with the program. This showed the level of interest, they had in learning the language at all cost. 

Considering there are many Muslims alike from all over the world who might also be that much interested in learning the language and be able to read the Qur'an, we were very determined.

Then, later, sometimes around 2017, we went as far as starting an Arabic language class, using the facility of the WhatsApp group as a medium. We shared the group link across many other Islamic groups and the result was astonishing. We had many people joined and benefited from different parts of the world.

This and many other scenarios we have experienced gave us proof of how much interested people are in learning the Language of the Qur'an. And this motivated us to bring this up to a more grounded scale and expand the reach of the knowledge to a very wide and large amount of people across the world.

Therefore we have devised a means to make this possible by establishing an online digital academy that can serve many people, using the service called Kartra; an online digital service provider of membership site and digital eLearning facilities among others. 

We have gone through their service plans and decided to go for the the "Silver" plan which can help serve a moderately large amount of people with the cost of $149/month ($1,788/year). Plus a hosting service plan from Godaddy, which also costs around $50/month ($600/year).

And many other estimated costs of tools and devices needed for making this possible, like video recording and editing tools. The total of which amounted to $994 according to the list of needed equipment suggested by non-profitfilmschool.com. Making the whole budget amounts to $3,382 for a year including the fixed costs as mentioned above.

Why Did We Request for $10,000?

Since our intention is to make this project a continuous one, to continuously  benefit as many Muslims as possible and for as long as possible. We think if we have only raised the minimum budget required to run this service for a year which is $2,388 less the fixed cost of $994, there will be no way we can continue the project after the year is elapsed.

Therefore, we decided to add the extra amount to the budget in order to invest it into one of our seasonal and halal produce exportation business to continue to support the project yearly with parts of the profits realized from it, for as long as possible.
