HEAT AID CAMPAIGN (VIENNA-BRUSSELS-MADRID)
DONATE TO SUPPORT THE HELPLINE X HEAT AID CAMPAIGN
What is the Heat Aid campaign?
fritz-kola and the international NGO Homeless Entrepreneur have joined forces to support and empower the local homeless communities in Austria, Belgium and Spain during the hottest time of the year. The Heat Aid campaign aims to raise awareness and inform people about the impact of extreme heat on the homeless communities.
"Overall, heatwaves are estimated to have caused around 90% of weather- and climate-related deaths in Europe over the past four decades" (source: https://www.eea.europa.eu/de/signale/signale-2023/artikel/hitzewellen-und-andere-klimabedingte-extremereignisse).
While most people enjoy the sun and relax on vacation, the current temperatures are especially dangerous for homeless people. Access to free drinking water on public road is very limited and the target of 2.5 liters of water per day is often impossible for homeless people to reach.
Join our Heat Aid and donate to Homeless Entrepreneur's Helpline directly here through the donation form!

What is the Helpline?
The Helpline is a service that aims to collect real-time data from and about homeless people or people at risk of homelessness and connect them with available resources. For Austria, Brussels and Spain, these are the telephone numbers that anyone can contact:
Austria (+43 720 022085); Belgium (+32 25-86-28-99); and Spain (+34 697 877 089).
What is the Voices Program?
The Voices Program provides insight into the lives of individuals suffering from homelessness and/or poverty to connect them with their community along with housing and employment opportunities, so they can grow their income and build their assets.
What is the Help Program?
The Help Program is a holistic one-year program that provides a supportive pathway to independence by promoting employment opportunities and supporting entrepreneurial activities. It tackles poverty and works in conjunction with housing programs to create sustainable change through active citizenship, community and a sense of purpose.
