Revive the Vibrant Coral Reefs of Bira, Indonesia - Your Support Matters
Dear Friend of the Ocean,
Imagine a world without the breathtaking coral reefs that form the backbone of marine ecosystems. Tragically, this could become a reality within three decades if we don't take immediate action. According to the United Nations, climate change and human activities have already devastated 50% of these vital underwater gardens.
But there's hope, and you can be a part of the solution.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we've already established the Heartfeldt Coral Nursery with 500 coral fragments, laying the foundation for a thriving underwater ecosystem in Bira.
We've partnered with GaiaOne, a social enterprise running successful coral restoration projects throughout Indonesia and Malaysia. With a holistic approach, GaiaOne has established 6 coral nurseries with 16,159 corals since July 2021, complemented by community awareness campaigns and beach clean-ups.
Coral reefs are not just beautiful underwater landscapes; they are vital ecosystems that support a quarter of all marine life, protect coastal communities from waves and storms, and hold immense potential for medical discoveries. Yet, these precious resources face numerous threats, including ocean acidification, coral bleaching, pollution, and physical damage.
