Hattie Portis-Jones for Fairburn Mayor

Hello Family,

I have had the honor of serving as your Fairburn Council member for the past 12 years. Fairburn has grown and I’ve grown with it. I believe that we can continue the public confidence in our city government when we elect honest leaders who govern with integrity, dignity, and transparency.

I’ve never been that person who sat on the sidelines. I believe in action. I also believe that Fairburn could strive for and accomplish great things. I am humbled and proud of the contributions that I’ve made as a member of Fairburn’s governing body and in partnership with you, Fairburn residents. Together, we’ve made Fairburn fiscally sound, safer, and created the path for Fairburn to become the best place to live, work and play. Fairburn truly has become “Situated to Succeed” with so many more opportunities before us.

I am officially announcing my candidacy to become your next Mayor for the City of Fairburn—a place that has been my home since 1996. I ask for your trust, your support and your vote as the next Mayor of our beloved city. We are on the right path and I endeavor to lead us on that path.

Sec 21-5-30, et seq. I am at least eighteen years old. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution. Contributions to the Committee to Elect Hattie Portis-Jones are not deductible for tax purposes. State law allows individuals, corporations, and Political Action Committees to contribute a maximum of $3,300 for the 2025 General Election and another $1,800 for the 2025 General Runoff Election. State law requires the Committee to Elect Hattie Portis-Jones to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $100 in a calendar year.
