Help us celebrate Chris Strachwitz's 91st Birthday!

For over 60 years, Chris Strachwitz has championed Blues, Cajun/Zydeco, and Tejano/ Norteño music and so much more. Through Arhoolie Records, films such as Chulas Fronteras and J'ai Été Au Bal and now with the work of the Arhoolie Foundation, Chris has shared his love of regional roots music with us all. 

To celebrate his 91st birthday we are asking you to donate at least $91 in his honor to the Arhoolie Foundation so we can continue to share the photos, interviews, videos and music on our website, through exhibitions and with live performances.

For donations of $91 or more, we will send you a special Birthday Celebration t-shirt, made up for this wonderful occasion.
