This grueling expedition involves conquering the formidable heights of Mount Agung, Mount Abang through the Freedom Summit Trail and Mount Batur in Bali in a matter of 4 nights, 3 days. The treacherous trails and relentless terrain mirror the uphill battle faced by individuals struggling with mental health issues. 
 
 Through this campaign, we aim to raise funds for Bali Bersama Bisa, an organization revolutionizing mental health here in Indonesia.

Its doors opened on February, 19^th 2024 and in a short window of time the counselors, psychologist, psychiatrists were booked full! The relentless uphill climb serves as a powerful metaphor for their uphill battle, emphasizing the importance of a community effort and your invidividual support.

Bali Bersama Bisa operates BISA Helpline, Indonesia’s only call center for Crisis and emotional support, for only 20 USD you keep the call center functioning for 24 hours! 

The BISA Helpline is currently serving over 1200 people per month with lifesaving services. Individuals facing crisis and/or emotional distress are directed to the BISA counselors and receive 1 on 1 counseling with access to Bali Bersama Bisa Mental Health care programs and professionals.

In Indonesia there still is a stigma around mental health and millions suffer in silence without basic knowledge of what’s happening. The country averages 1 psychiatrist per 300,000 people and for most of the population its far far out of reach. Its simple, the average salary in Indonesia does not allow for people to access mental health professionals. 
  
Halim Ardie believes in a world where people have access to the tools and help, they need to face mental health issues. Bersama Bisa Foundation is the community making that difference and leading Indonesia in services for the community, by the community.

As a DJ and event organizer I have regularly seen my community and industry mental wellbieng issues, from the stress of being overworked and overwhelmed. Especially when in the high action paced world Events/F&B. I have witnessed first hand the mental stress that it has had on friends, peers and myself included. I think that Indonesia is lacking in the mental health support so for me to help raise funds for this beautiful initiative is a honour!

Funds raised in this event will go to Movement of Recovery as the driving force of the LISA suicide hotline and the establishment of the stabilization unit. The responsibilities of care for those suffering is shared by all NGO’s making up the Bali Bersama Bisa network and the funds will be used in accordance with the needs of the individuals battling mental issues.

Last time I joined we raised over 4000 USD for suicide prevention and mental health support, I am looking forward to smashing that record this year and smashing the mountains for a better world!
