Goal
We want to send 4 athletes (Silvia Rivoli, Genivive Duvivier, Fritz Ariel Moise, and Philippe Henri), a swim coach (Stenio Amilcar) and a team manager (Pascal Duvivier) (for a total of 6) to represent Haiti at the Carifta Games. It will cost about $2000 per person to attend this meet (this includes swim fees, travel, lodging and food costs). The Haitian Swimming Federation is a newly established organization and does not have funds to send its athletes to world class international competitions. However, we believe it is important for Haiti to be present in these Caribbean games as we prepare to grow our presence at international swimming competitions and compete in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Because the government does not allocate funds to Haitian athletics and the Haitian Swimming Federation is a new organization, we are entirely dependent on outside resources who share the same goals as we do—allowing Haiti the same access and representation at world class swimming events—to help us move forward in our efforts. We are currently accepting any type of help to allow Haiti to be present at the Carifta Games. Anything can help!
